Our Mission

The mission of East Lake Elementary School, a STEAM Magnet in OCSD, is to ensure all students discover and develop their person, purpose and platform through high-quality educational experiences distinguished by:

Our Schoolwide Goals:

1.  By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, 80% of our students will meet or exceed their iReady growth goals in math and ELA.

2.  By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, 40% of our students will perform on grade level in ELA as determined by iReady.

3.  By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, 35% of our students will perform on grade level in math as determined by iReady.

4.  By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, we will increase the percentage of students performing on grade level in math and ELA by 8% in all grade levels as determined by SC Ready.
